  1. It is very hard for me to believe this album is this old! I first heard The Whole of the Moon on a Celtic show on the local public radio station. I was immediately taken by the song structure, the lyrics and the Beatlesque sound! As a matter of fact on friday evening I was listening to this same show, and heard a LIVE version of TWOTM and was enthralled all over again!
    Great Blog by the way!
    Thanx for this!

  2. I've been a long time fan of the Waterboys since their second album "A Pagan Place". If you can find it somewhere, don't hesitate. I'm kinda sure you'll like it too. Thanks for the compliment about the blog and do me a favour, spread the word... the more people the more I'm motivated to go on....
    Thanks!

  4. Tonight I was watching S06E03 of "The 100". Murphy picked up an old music player, switched it on, and BINGO. Only took a couple of bars to recognize "This is the Sea". The sound could only be "The Waterboys". More years than I care to remember since I had this album. Sadly long gone. However, I now have it again. Thank you so much. :)
